Description
Rope climbing has never been easier! Lightweight and sturdy, the Ninja™ footlocker from Harken Industrial™ attaches to the boot. Attached to an aluminum bracket, the two cams holding the rope are made of stainless steel. The Ninja footlocker engages the body's major muscle group to make climbing easier and faster. It accepts ropes up to 13 mm in diameter and has a maximum working load of 1.5 kN. The Ninja foot hold is designed to optimize rope travel with reduced spring tension to reduce friction. This makes it easier to move forward on the rope without having to stretch the rope or bend over to manually slide it. The result is a significant increase in productivity.
+ Uses
Max. rope diameter (mm) 13 mm
Max. rated load (kN) 1.5 kN
Minimum rope diameter (mm) 8 mm
Data sheet
No more accidental rope ejection: The double cam system prevents the rope from being accidentally ejected. The rope stays in place until the user intentionally unhooks it. The Ninja is the first rope clamp that can be used on both feet.
Rope Protection: The Ninja footlocker's cams have ribs, not aggressive spikes that can damage the rope.
Innovative Design: The dual-cam system (inspired by the Cam-Matic® ball bearing wedges in the Harken rigging product line) applies pressure to both sides of the rope simultaneously. This provides greater holding power than devices that simply compress one side of the rope against the bracket.
